RESEARCH INTERESTS

The main focus of Dr. Lee’s research is on the design and synthesis of small molecules. The objectives of current research are to discover: (1) anti-diabetic agents for the management of diabetes, and (2) antimicrobial agents against MRSA.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Dr. Lee has conducted research on drug discovery of SGLT2 inhibitors and endothelin receptor antagonists to identify potential compounds; some of these findings were already published.
